Today was pretty simple. We had a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive, with plenty of eating and resting in between. Neither drive was especially fruitful, in the sense that we really didn’t see anything we hadn’t seen before.
One plus is that the weather in this region is a bit warmer than what we’ve experienced in our other locations. Today’s high was 76 degrees. Yes, we still need a coat once the sun goes down during the drive, but we’re having dinner outdoors on the patio at 8:00 p.m., and it’s quite comfortable.
I think I mentioned that this is a very small lodge, and we are the only four guests here. It makes for a very unique and intimate experience.
